Earthquake

The possibility that an earthquake could cause an extinction level event is very small indeed.

However, if the event were on a large enough scale and in the right place that could trigger an ELE.

For instance, an earthquake big enough to cause widespread and catastrophic damage to California may have a ripple effect on the economy of the USA which, if the economy were to collapse, would then cause a global economic collapse and that could lead to an ELE.
